Jake Winkle is a British watercolour artist, concentrating on dramatic animal watercolours, in a distinctive signature style. His work is inspired by the light and movement of the world around him, and contains a passion and energy that you can’t take your eyes away from. His work is bold, using water and white space to add a translucent quality. Jake Winkle has released a number of limited edition prints that focus on capturing the speed and grace of different animals. They are framed, mounted and ready for you to enjoy. On his inspiration, Jake said. ‘I’m inspired by shape, colour, mark-making and movement. I like wildlife because it allows me to explore all of these qualities.’
