South African Artist Hamish Herd is an artist that creates atmospheric abstract artwork, inspired by the play of light Hamish creates work that highly contrasts against dark shadows or vividly coloured scenes, his work transports the viewer in to the depths of the exquisite detail captured within his work. Now residing in the picturesque county of Yorkshire in the United Kingdom, Herds education in the arts focused on Art History, paving a way in to his career in teaching before he transitioned to become a full time artist. With a tenure of over 25 years as an artist, his techniques hones and quality of works now that of a master artist.
