Perhaps the most famous British illustrator of all time, Sir Quentin Blake, is one of the artists we feature at the Rose Gallery. His trademark spiky style graced the amazing books by Roald Dahl. We have a wide range of Blake’s work, sometimes accompanied by Dahl’s writing in the painting. They bring back great childhood memories. We also feature illustrative art by Helen Oxenbury, who is well-known for her work in We’re Going On A Bear Hunt, and Anita Jeram, whose drawings brought the Guess How Much I Love You books to life.
