Since graduating from Camberwell School of Art, London, in the 1980's Alex has been practising as a professional artist. He is inspired by nature and natural events, with the focus of his work being light, colour relationships and the balance between realism and abstraction. Alex sees painting as his own kind of "meditation", and he aims to paint things in the truest way possible from his perspective. He also owns Lemon Studios Art School in South Wales and teaches around the UK and in France.
