Award winning artist Becky Mair was born in Chatham, Kent. In 1985 she did a Foundation Course at Canterbury College of Art. She then spent time in London in the fashion industry and advertising. Becky completed a BA Honours degree in 2004 at UCA Canterbury, and in 2013 won Best Selling Published Artist at the Art & Framing Industry Awards. Becky’s art is inspired by the works of Jackson Pollock & her love of animals. In a technique which is difficult to master, she stands over her art using a stick or tube to flick & direct the paint. The end result is impressive!
