Paul Dolman was born in Derbyshire and grew up in Devon. He has been passionate about painting since he was young and he won a number of Junior Artist Awards. His first job was as a pottery designer and he moved from there to become an illustrator at a local newspaper. Paul’s artistic style is sophisticated and shows a great depth which he has continued to develop and allow to evolve. He has more recently moved towards oils and pastels, creating wonderfully atmospheric and vivid landscapes full of life and drama.
