St Paul's represents a different form of artwork for Gary Benfield. Recognisable in colouring and style, St Paul's shows a move to the genre of Cityscapes venturing away from Benfield's more recent focus on wildlife.

Gary Benfield is one of the most talented and versatile natural artists currently working in the UK. He has been drawing and painting since childhood. He is also ambidextrous. Gary is remarkably able to draw and paint in virtually all forms of art, including figurative, landscape, architectural, still life and equestrian. This ability is rare, especially in modern times, where artists prefer to niche down. Gary is just as proficient working with different materials. Be it paint, graphite, charcoal, anything, Gary’s work is unsurpassed. At The Rose Gallery, we offer a range of limited edition prints, mainly concentrating on Gary’s equestrian work and countryside scenes. Gary Benfield’s horses are powerful, noble, beautiful. They stop you in your tracks wherever they’re hung. Gary on his work. “I love the beauty of the line and I use these skills to create and transform inert materials into images of beauty and romance.”
