Nicky Litchfield is a British artist, based in the Ribble Valley, Lancashire.
Nicky is well-known for her beautiful animal paintings. When you see one of Nicky’s paintings, you can feel the affection that she has for her animal subjects. Her style is to let the character and essence of the animal shine through. She predominately uses oil and pastels.
Nicky is a true animal lover. Her love for animals began when she would spend weekends and summers at her grandparents’ farm. She loves to paint dogs, horses, cows and other livestock. Aside from her art, the other mainstay of her studio is her dog, Max.
Nicky Litchfield’s work has grown in popularity since winning the Society for All Artists Artist of the Year in the Animal Category in 2008.
Her limited edition prints add warmth and glowing affection wherever they are displayed.
