Inspired by her surroundings of built environments as they shift and change with the passing of the seasons. Regency buildings, Cotswold villages, Cornish harbours and the magical appearance of carousels and buildings against a starlit sky are just some of her favourite subjects. Happiest when experimenting with different media to create new and interesting effects that will leave my subject recognizable but with space for the imagination. Following a number of highly successful solo exhibitions she was shortlisted for the Artists and Illustrators magazine and Artist of the Year Award, the impressive accomplishments have created a strong following for Katharine Dove's work and this highly collectable artist is a firm favourite of The Rose Galleries art experts.
