Artist Rebecca Lardner was born in 1971 in Swanage and spent her childhood years in Dorset. She left home to study illustration at Sir John Moore’s University in Liverpool and she has had a successful career as a professional artist and illustrator ever since.
In 1998, Rebecca travelled to Southern India to paint a mural for the Russ Foundation. Her work receives worldwide acclaim and she regularly exhibits in leading UK galleries.
In 2010, Rebecca was awarded the prestigious Best Selling Artist Award by the art industry’s Fine Art Trade Guild.
Rebecca’s recent paintings have been heavily influenced by the South West and its coastline as she enjoys depicting life by the sea in her signature palate of blues and greens.
