The Kiss by artist Harry Bunce is a colourful piece capturing a two flopsy bunnies as they lean in for a kiss, with a backdrop of hearts and flowers this is a romantic piece with an urban art twist. Inspired by pop art, Bunce combines an illustrative graphic style with his very British tongue in cheek humour, he touches on childhood nostalgia and gives it a uniquely dark twist, creating highly collectable urban styled artwork.

Harry Bunce and his cast of cute, and only occasionally cuddly creatures have carved out a unique position in the art world. With a quirky and distinctive style, his bunny rabbit inspiration combines illustration, street art and fine art with a pinch of British humour. Collectors have described his work as ‘Beatrix Potter meets Quentin Tarantino’ and dubbed him our ‘rural Banksy.’
His inspiration from children's literature is obvious, citing classic children’s authors and illustrators including Richard Scarry, Dr. Seuss and Beatrix Potter as key in his early development as an artist. In a welcome contrast his early years as an artist were heavily influenced by an eclectic mix of modern masters such as David Hockney and Keith Haring, along with the Punk music and art movements, these familiar artistic cues make a appearance in his work on occasion.
Gaining a loyal following from collectors during his time at art school and within the Bristol art scene, his style developed and became increasingly distinctive and atmospheric. A collaboration with screen printing gurus, Screen One, who also worked with Banksy and Nick Walker, introduced a more graphic element to his style, sharpening its unique, slightly unnerving edge and, consequently, broadening his appeal. He was able to dedicate more time to his career as a professional artist and his work was greeted with growing enthusiasm. He is now an established figure on the British contemporary art scene.
