Guy Allen

Born in 1987 in Norfolk, United Kingdom, Guy Allen is a talented British artist known for his experimental approach to printmaking and draftsmanship. Working from his studio on the North Norfolk coast, Guy combines traditional etching techniques with innovative elements like vibrant colour and gold leaf, creating a distinctive and contemporary body of work.

He studied at Central Saint Martins between 2008 and 2011, where a pivotal trip to the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris introduced him to the printing press. This discovery marked a turning point in his artistic journey, offering a medium that perfectly aligned with his creative vision.

Since then, Guy has gained recognition for his work, earning several accolades including the prestigious Diana Brooks Prize at the Mall Galleries in 2018.

Beyond his art, Guy is deeply committed to philanthropy, supporting a range of arts and health-related charities each year. These include Art For Youth, EACH, Keeping A Breast, Art For Cure, Marie Curie UK, and WellChild.
