Corinne Young

Corinne Young is an up and coming artist that has been recognised by prestigious awards, winning the The Holly Bush Emerging Women Painter Prize 2020. Corinne uses oil paints to create rich tones and textures for a multitude of works, including landscapes and commissioned pieces such as pet portraits and seascapes. Corinne has become well-known for her ‘Reasons to be’ series building upon the award winning portrait 'Reasons to be Alone' Exploring the female form through a contemporary realism style, contentment and peace in the water. Unfiltered and framed by the natural environment, whether that's the movement of water, the reflection of trees in the water or rocks on the beach.
