William Montgomery is an animal sculptor who works primarily in wax. Born and raised in the picturesque countryside of Southwest England, he draws deep inspiration from his early life on the family farm. His passion for sculpture began at a young age, and he has developed his craft entirely through self-guided learning.

Though he pursued a degree in Physiotherapy at university, this scientific education has proven invaluable to his artistic practice. It gave him a thorough understanding of the musculoskeletal system, encompassing bones, muscles, tendons, joint articulations, and biomechanics, which profoundly influences his approach to sculpting. This anatomical insight enables Will to create lifelike, dynamic animal sculptures that authentically convey movement and form.
