A highly accomplished horsewoman, Gill brings her deep passion for horses to life through her art. Her work is strikingly versatile, both in subject matter and scale, ranging from equestrian scenes to British wildlife, big game, and beloved family pets. Gill lives and works in the heart of rural Gloucestershire, surrounded by a variety of animals. She also breeds and shows American Quarter Horses, achieving numerous European and National championship titles.
Gill's journey into sculpture began during her time at South Wilts Grammar School in Salisbury, where she first discovered her love for the medium. After exploring several different career paths, she ultimately returned to sculpture, where her talent and passion truly flourish. Gill’s first bronzes were acquired by Garrard and Asprey in London in May 1983, with her debut solo show following at the Sladmore Gallery in 1984. Since then, she has become a leading sculptor of equine and wildlife subjects, with major commissions including the life-size bronze of Motivator at Ascot Racecourse. Her work is held in public, private, and Royal collections worldwide—sought after for its timeless quality, beauty, and craftsmanship.
