Scott Tetlow

Scott Tetlow is a contemporary British artist known for his expressive, calligraphy-inspired figurative style. After studying Fine Art at the University of Gloucestershire, he spent several years away from painting following a studio fire that destroyed his early work. A move to Verona reignited his passion, and a later period studying calligraphy in Taiwan profoundly shaped his approach, emphasising fluid, confident strokes that bring energy and spontaneity to every piece. Working across portraiture, wildlife, cityscapes, and pop culture, Tetlow’s work is celebrated for its bold line work, movement, and emotional immediacy.
