Aaminah Snowdon

Aaminah Snowdon is a British contemporary artist creating portraits of animals which bring them to life. Painting British wildlife, farm animals and pets, she brings her subjects to life celebrating their curiosity, affection and adventurousness. A self-taught artist, Aaminah Snowdon has developed a recognisable style with bold brush strokes in vibrant colours. The energy and wit of this Yorkshire artist bring her animal friends to life, showcasing their personalities. Aaminah won her first art competition at 7, painting a whale blowing multi-coloured water from its spout. As an animal lover, she spends much of her free time working with rescue animals and donates a percentage of her profits to animal charities.
