Geoff Jeal

Geoff has exhibited his sculpture's since 2009, with his work shown in galleries, exhibitions and open studios across the UK. Geoff creates distinctive sculptures inspired by the natural world, exploring the beauty, structure and complexity found within organic forms. His work takes elements from nature and reimagines them through a contemporary sculptural language, often highlighting the intricate patterns, textures and shapes that can easily go unnoticed. With a strong understanding of traditional sculptural techniques, Geoff works with an appreciation for both form and craftsmanship. His training as a skilled chaser and finisher at Lochbund Fine Art Bronze Casting Foundry has further developed his technical ability and attention to detail. Geoff’s sculptures invite the us to look more closely at the natural forms that surround us. By simplifying, separating and reassembling elements of the landscape and natural environment, he creates work that feels both familiar and unexpected, revealing the elegance within even the most complex ecological structures.
