Markus Haub is a German artist who studied Transportation Design at university before moving to Spain to work for Volkswagen and Renault in their Design studios. A well-travelled creator, in 2004 he moved for two years to Paris and is now living in Barcelona, working as a designer and artist.

His favourite scenes to paint are city views of Barcelona, New York, Tokyo and Barcelona, but he also frequently depicts classic cars, which he observes at racing events all over Europe. In 2008 he started the series "Racing Legends", which mainly features racing cars from the 60s and 70s. He's often described as the most innovative painter of classic cars in Europe today.

Wherever he goes Markus takes his camera and sketchbook and believes context to be as important as the subject.
